Universal Defibrillator Cabinet with Alarm
The Universal Defibrillator Cabinet comes with an inbuilt alarm that sounds when the cabinet has been opened and therefore someone is suffering a cardiac arrest. The cabinet has a large clear window on the front so you can easily inspect the condition of the unit and ensure it is there at all times. It also includes a sticker label, using words and an image, to show what is stored inside the cabinet. A defibrillator cabinet provides a safe storage area for your defibrillator inside a building.
The cabinet is suitable for use with all common defibrillators, including:
Telefunken FA1, Philips HeartStart HS1, LifePak CR Plus, Zoll AED Plus, Powerheart G5, Lifeline, Samaritan PAD and iPad SP1.
- Protects AED whilst allowing access in an emergency
- Metal cabinet for protecting AED from damage
- Integrated audible alarm alerts when the cabinet is open
- Door window allows for easy visual inspection
- Designed to fit all defibrillators
- Batteries included (type: LR44 button cell)
- Dimensions: W42cm x H20cm x D38cm
Setting up and maintaining the C855A cabinet:
- 1 - When you first receive the cabinet, the alarm will be switched to “OFF”; the alarm must be switched to the “ON” position to work effectively.
- 2 - The alarm can be found inside the cabinet, attached to the roof on the right-hand side.
- 3 - The “ON/OFF” button is located on the back of the alarm; switch the alarm to the “ON” position. At this point, the alarm will sound until the door is completely closed.
- 4 - If you wish to turn the alarm off completely, switch the alarm to the “OFF” position. This will, however, prevent the alarm from sounding in an emergency or break-in situation.
- 5 - To replace the battery, use a Phillips-head screwdriver to unscrew the alarm from the roof of the cabinet. The top of the alarm case will slide off to reveal the battery, which can now be taken out and replaced with a new LR44 button cell battery. Once the battery has been replaced screw the alarm back into its original position.
